A fee applies to each document submitted for legalisation. Please note that all fees are non-refundable if your document is rejected by the FCDO - for example, if the solicitor has omitted a date or signature, or if the document has been submitted without proper certification.
Refunds and Resubmissions
If your document cannot be legalised, the £40 FCDO government fee is non-refundable. Our handling fee is also non-refundable, as it covers the administrative and verification process.
However, you may resubmit your corrected document for legalisation without paying another handling fee - only the £40 FCDO government fee will apply.
